Everything is ready for the New Year's Concert at the Teatro delle Palme in Naples, which will be held on January 2020, XNUMX. The event, now historic, has reached its fifth edition and is attracting more and more interest from the Neapolitan public and beyond, as well as from the institutions, with the patronage of the Presidency of the Regional Council of Campania and the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Naples, and the Municipality of Chiaia San Ferdinando
Organized by the Cultural Association Noi per Napoli with its artists and creators, the soprano Olga De Maio and the tenor Luca Lupoli, artists of the Teatro San Carlo, the concert promises to be an event not to be missed. First of all, to be an extraordinary opportunity to start a new year in the joyful and cheerful company of singing, dancing and music, sharing and experiencing together the emotions evoked by these arts, and then to listen to beautiful and immortal timeless melodies.
The bel canto will be characterised by some of the most famous opera arias by Donizetti, Puccini, Verdi, by the exhilarating operetta pages by Lehar, by the most beautiful salon arias such as La Mattinata by Leoncavallo or the dance with the Waltzes by Strauss, the Tarantella by Rossini and the Neapolitan classics…
It will be a great and magical New Year's Eve party, set in the setting of one of the most fascinating Neapolitan period salons, and the artists will lead the audience on a wonderful journey out of time. Moments of lightheartedness and lightheartedness, to take your mind off the daily routine at least for a while.
On stage an extraordinary cast, directly from the Teatro San Carlo, such as the soprano Olga De Maio and the tenor Luca Lupoli, artists known to the national and international public. With them on stage the tenor Lucio Lupoli, the extraordinary actor Giacomo Rizzo, testimonial of the evening the journalist Giuseppe Giorgio with his historical interventions, the orchestral ensemble of the Association "Noi per Napoli", the Aedon string quartet, the flautist Andrea Ceccomori, the dance troupe of the Centro Tersicorea with the choreography of Gloria Sigona and Livia Spoto and the presenter Lorenza Licenziati. A show that also qualifies as a noble initiative since a part of the proceeds will be donated, as every year, for the purchase of food and basic necessities for the Caritas soup kitchen for the homeless in Santa Chiara in Naples.
