Ceppaloni. In fact, there are 27 guests currently hospitalized in the "Pietro Lonardo" nursing home, still managed by the Isaia Group, despite the request to vacate the building by the Municipality. The Carabinieri of the Nas of Salerno, territorially competent for Ceppaloni, after an initial visit carried out on August 15, during which some technical irregularities were found regarding the state of the systems, returned on December 14 for a further inspection. In the presence of the firefighters, they found the failure to service the fire extinguishers, as well as the failure of the emergency lights and fire nozzles.
During the inspection, attention was also focused on the conditions of two patients in particular, requesting the intervention of the emergency medical service for one of them, who, in turn, arranged for his hospitalization, even though the 118 doctor who intervened on the scene did not consider it necessary to transfer him to the Benevento hospital.
