Arzano - Severe weather, local police engaged on multiple fronts. In Piazza Cimmino and on the ramps of the Asse Mediano, the intervention of the white helmets was timely, restoring traffic flow. The severe weather that suddenly struck Arzano yesterday challenged the local police and municipal technicians on multiple fronts, alerted by hundreds of calls from various parts of the city. The heavy rain in the city required officers to intervene, particularly in some areas that, due to the intensity of the rainfall, had become almost inaccessible. Numerous calls were also received regarding fallen trees that were impeding traffic on Via Nenni, Corso D'Amato, and near the access ramps on Via Porziano. Furthermore, local police responded to the fall of several 6x3 billboards on Via Atellana. Municipal technicians also responded to the consequences of the severe weather in some areas of the city. The local police, led by Commander Luigi Maiello, also worked to restore the roads flooded by heavy rain. The work, which began just minutes after the onset of the violent storm, focused on both safety and traffic flow in the city, severely challenged by this particularly severe weather event. Once again, the municipal team responded appropriately, mobilizing in real time after the onset of the storm. Local police and municipal technicians patrolled the city and responded based on reports received by the Operations Room.
