There are few events as beautiful and significant as “L'amore si muove”, held at the Teatro Roma in Portici on Monday 17, now in its fifth edition. A magical atmosphere is created from the opening of the curtain. Here are the differently abled kids with their teacher singing Acqua azzurra acqua chiara, and it's magic right away. While a certain society would like them relegated to a submerged and dark world, the extraordinary professor Lombardi gives them light and colors, and a visibility that all the fantastic kids deserve. It's impossible not to love the exuberance of Francesco Pio, the sweetness of Eva, Giuseppina, Roberta and all their friends, engaged in show numbers, but above all left free to be themselves, without superstructures. The show is also pleasant, with moments of great depth with the intervention of the very talented actress Maria Bolignano and her emotional monologue taken from Fisica-mente by Luciano Melchionna, a great director very attentive to social issues present in the room, and with the rumba of a superb Ernesto Lama. Alberico Lombardi's performance in the Tenco medley was also applauded, as well as a poignant version of Don Backy's Sognando accompanied by the talented guitarist Aniello Palomba and the performance of the singer Shara with a song dedicated to Mia Martini. Gioia Miale's monologue on bullying was also convincing and on target, in a perfect combination of acting and music with Alberico's voice and Palomba's guitar. The showgirl Valentina Iengo was delightful, surprising everyone in a moment of tango with a professional dancer as well as the children of the dance school. Among those awarded by Mayor Cuomo, the champion Imma Cerasuolo, the professor Roberta Tardi and the Carlo Levi Institute, the most inclusive school in the Portici area. The proceeds from a large audience, like every year, went to Isola Onlus. Love moves is definitely an important event that moves and makes you think and which was really needed.
