Grand finale for the eighth edition of “Pane Ammore e Tarantella”: a spectacular end-of-year concert is scheduled for Monday, December 30 in Avella (Avellino). Luca Rossi will take to the stage at the Teatro Biancardi at 20,30:XNUMX p.m., with Marcello Colasurdo as a guest. The concert will bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new, “co' bene a ind' e 'o male 'a for'”, with the artistic direction of Roberto D'Agnese for Omast Eventi. To enrich the event, stands with gourmet cheese with truffle and chestnut honey hazelnut, roasted chestnuts, wine and fire. Everyone is invited to contribute to the grand finale by bringing their own tammorra from home, for a unique concert that writes an important page in the tradition of the tammurriata.
The concert closes the eighth edition of Pane Ammore e Tarantella, which recorded important numbers last November: three stages, over 150 artists, exceptional street bands, over 100 stands among the excellence of gastronomy and craftsmanship, a program full of initiatives, shows, moments dedicated to children, exhibitions and guided tours of the historical and artistic heritage of Avella. Now it is the turn of Luca Rossi and Marcello Colasurdo, two names of the popular tradition of Campania who have dedicated their lives to the tammorra. Luca Rossi is an author and performer for theater and music and is considered one of the most representative exponents of the tammorra. He has collaborated, participated and recorded with many exponents of the Italian popular music scene and international ethnic music: Teresa de Sio, Marcello Colasurdo, Enzo Avitabile, Orchestra Popolare Campana and Eugenio Bennato, NCCP and Tullio de Piscopo, Benham Samani (Iran), Kelvin Sholar (United States), Tambours du Mediterraneè (France-Tunisia) and with productions and companies of theater, dance and television shows. Marcello Colasurdo, historical interpreter of the traditional Vesuvian song, eclectic artist defined as "The voice of Vesuvius", engaged as a film actor, has worked with Federico Fellini, Salvatore Piscicelli, Antonietta De Lillo, Antonio Capuano, and as a theater actor with Mario Martone, Laura Angiulli and Giorgio Presburger. Interpreter of the traditional Campanian song and historical voice of 'E Zezi, interpreters linked to the working world as much as to tradition. Numerous are his collaborations, live or in the studio, with representatives of Italian popular music, from the Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare to the Modena City Ramblers, from Almamegretta to 99 Posse, Bisca, Daniele Sepe. A fundamental element of “Spaccanapoli”, a musical group, welcomed into the 'narrow' circle of Peter Gabriel's Real World label. His repertoire starts from ritual songs, the so-called 'a ffronna', to reach, through myriads of accents and sounds, the contemporary tarantella. Naturally, a fundamental element of every Colasurdo concert is the “canto sopra al battito”, an Italian and labored translation of the tammurriata.
A concert that promises to be very intense, to welcome the new year in the best possible way, that is, through art, tradition and fun.
