Another illegal concert by neo-melodic singer Tony Colombo, this time in the Vomero neighborhood. The Palermo-born singer was scheduled to perform in the Antignano area at the opening of a clothing store, but once again everything was stopped, before the event could even take place, by officers from the Vomero Operations Unit due to a lack of the necessary permits.
"Permits to hold concerts, events, musical and dance evenings in public places are not optional, they are not a bureaucratic whim but are necessary so that everything can take place in maximum safety and with respect for the citizens who live or pass through the place where the event is to take place. Up to now all the concerts organized by Tony Colombo that we have news of did not have permits, all were illegal and since he therefore seems to wallow in illegality it is suspected that he may also be receiving all his earnings from concerts and events in black. Having married a Camorra widow has given him a strong media resonance which has meant that the number of events organized by him, almost all illegally, has grown dramatically and consequently also the compensation, which may have been received in black. We therefore ask for strict controls by the Guardia di Finanza on him and on those who carry out similar activities." - harshly commented the Regional Councilor of the Greens, Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
