'Bomboniera Cantante' directed by Rosalia Terrana on stage at the Magma Teatro

On Saturday, December 21st, at 8:30 pm, at the Magma Teatro (Via Vesuvio 55) in Torre Annunziata, "Bomboniera Cantante" will be performed. With lyrics and music by Vincenzo De Vita, the show is produced by Angelico Bestiario Compagnia and directed by Rosalia Terrana, who performs with Enzo De Vita and Teresa Tufano. Lighting by Rosario Espostio.
“Let’s get used to seeing beyond the construction of a sentence, let’s read the desperation of marginal living that is everyone’s, at all times, no matter how many efforts and somersaults we can invent. A world of dreams that belongs to us and that translates into catchy songs with elementary harmonic turns.
How many of us? We all, perhaps, know in our secret the hesitation of living, the uncertainty of 'what to do', the intimate hyperbolic invectives of which we are obscure authors as we continually struggle in the breath of every day, at every hour and minute, even in dreams.
The show is all this and was created to make us think, reflect on the uselessness of logic, which, apparently, takes us a step beyond revenge, that is, to dialectical nihilism that we prefer to confuse with something that makes no sense.
This is where the idea was born.
Bomboniera is not a character in search of an author. Bomboniera is a place, better a squalid place than any other location, where a visionary gives body and voice to the torments of his life, handcuffs the monster that we are through a surreal alternation of the themes that torment us every day and that in forcing us to become something else, unravel the thread of time with the magnanimous intent of doing us good, entertaining us, singing us a lullaby.
An unlikely hostess, a shy singer, a woman in a désépère foyer will pose uncomfortable questions to us through musical and singing jokes to which we can oppose our thoughtful 'serious things' which, it seems, are not working too well, today, for all of us.
So, perhaps, it is better to escape, even if only for an hour, of pure divertissement.”
