More arrests and seizures of firecrackers in the last hours of 2019. The carabinieri of the operational section of Torre Annunziata have just arrested 2 people in Boscoreale for possession and manufacturing of explosive devices.
The first Massimo Balzano, a 50-year-old local already known to the police, hid 43 kilos of illegal firecrackers in a garage. The 32-year-old Giuseppe Gambardella, on the other hand, had 89 kilos. The fireworks - dangerously stored in a warehouse - were seized and then sampled by the Carabinieri of the Naples bomb squad. The two arrested were placed under house arrest pending trial.
