As New Year's Eve approaches, the sale of illegal fireworks and firecrackers is increasing, the use of which is not only illegal but also highly dangerous. In recent days, through a dossier by the Regional Councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli, built through a series of reports, it has become known how these illegal fireworks now also have an online market, thanks to the Facebook Marketplace platform, e-commerce sites such as ebay, or through private user profiles.
"It is a very worrying situation that must be examined and addressed with due caution. The greatest danger comes from online sales. We have already received 30 reports on the matter. This type of trade, in addition to being illegal, puts on the market, and therefore at the disposal of anyone, even children, real explosives, which can damage, even irreparably, the physical person. The latest arrival on the market of these firecrackers is the 'Quota Cento', a real explosive device. We invite everyone not only to purchase this type of firecracker but to report and denounce any sales channel that sells this material, whether online or not." - commented Councilor Borrelli announcing a series of complaints.
