After months of delays and postponements, applications for the call are finally open "Rest in the South" even for professionals.
The planned allocation was 1,25 billion euros, a treasure trove that remained almost intact and intended to support non-repayable grants and bank financing. Individuals can obtain up to 50.000 euros, while partnerships between professionals can obtain up to 200.000 euros.
The call is aimed at three types of self-employed workers: professionals registered with a order, professionals ex law 4/2013 (people without a VAT number at the time of application who however must fill this gap within 60 days) and professional company.
All those people between the ages of 18 and 45 can access the financing. It is also worth noting that, following the various postponements, even those people who had not yet turned 1 as of January 2019, 46 can submit the application.
The call "Rest in the South" It is intended only for the southern regions and therefore Sicily, Sardinia, Puglia, Molise, Campania, Calabria, Basilicata and Abruzzo.
Campania professionals who want to access the financing of the Resto al Sud announcement can find useful advice for undertaking the bureaucratic process on the reference portals such as PMI Contributions, which includes a team of experts who provide support to entrepreneurs and small companies in submitting the application.
The request for access to financing must be submitted on the website of Invitalia antenna by completing the form in its entirety. If any parts are omitted or incorrect information is provided, the application will be rejected, therefore it is essential to avail of the collaboration of expert and competent personnel to avoid errors.
With the company Legislative Decree 123/2019 regions that fall within the seismic crater area of Central Italy, such as Lazio, Umbria and Marche, can also access the tax breaks.
Workers operating in the agriculture and trade sectors are excluded from the “Resto al Sud” call. Professionals with a permanent employment contract with another entity, as well as professionals who are not registered with any order, cannot access the funding. Access to the call is also prohibited for companies between professionals who have already benefited from state aid for self-entrepreneurship.
Diversification of activities is the key word to keep in mind to have greater possibilities of access to funding. In fact, the announcement excludes a priori professionals who in the 12 months preceding the application have already held a VAT number for an activity similar to the one proposed.
The call is particularly attractive for companies between professionals who can focus on starting multidisciplinary studies to have a greater chance of being admitted to funding.
