On December 19, the event "Let's Pack a Package to the Camorra" will be held in Naples at the Regional Council headquarters. The event is sponsored by the Second Special Anti-Camorra and Confiscated Assets Commission and the Presidency of the Campania Regional Council. The event will feature official greetings from Regional Council President Rosetta D'Amelio, and speeches by Carmine Mocerino, President of the Second Special Anti-Camorra and Confiscated Assets Commission; Enza Amato, Vice President of the Second Commission; Vincenzo Viglione, Secretary of the Second Commission; and Simmaco Perillo, President of the NCO Consortium. "Next Thursday," declared President Rosetta D'Amelio, "we will hold the event 'Let's pack up the Camorra' at the Regional Council." We have been promoting this initiative for nine years. Together with the Anti-Camorra and Confiscated Property Commission, we are presenting a Christmas hamper made with products from assets seized from criminal organizations. The initiative is part of the Nuova Cooperazione Organizzata (Nco) consortium, in collaboration with the Don Peppe Diana Committee and Libera. We support youth cooperatives to promote inclusion and local development projects and to promote the work and products derived from confiscated assets. The goal," emphasized the Prime Minister, "is to send a very strong message in the fight against the Camorra, and it is an event I am particularly passionate about because I wanted the legislature, over which I presided and which is now ending, to be strongly characterized by the culture of legality."
