Stefano Bollani and Daniele Silvestri will perform New Year's Eve 2020 in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples. The two artists are the stars of a program packed with music and entertainment that will entertain Neapolitans and tourists from 10:00 PM until dawn on January 1st.
But it doesn't end there because the Neapolitan New Year's Eve will continue, as per tradition, on the seafront to dance. The concert will open with Bollani, who on December 30 will be awarded honorary citizenship of Naples by Mayor Luigi de Magistris. The pianist and composer's performance will focus on the celebration of Renato Carosone, an artist who is a symbol of Neapolitan culture and musical heritage, whose birth centenary is celebrated this year. Then the stage will be taken by Daniele Silvestri, a refined singer-songwriter who has always been committed to defending the rights of the weakest. Adding a touch of Neapolitan style will be rappers Livio Cori and Nicola Siciliano. Jazz musician Walter Ricci completes the artistic cast.
The concert will be presented by Max Giannini and Maria Silvia Malvone, voices of Radio Kiss Kiss to whom the Municipality of Naples has entrusted the organization. After one o'clock, Castel dell'Ovo will take center stage with a fireworks display and then there will be dancing in Piazza Vittoria with live music by Ivan Granatino, Federico di Napoli, Moderup, Marco Calone, Paki G., Marsica; in Via Partenope you can instead let loose to the rhythms of South America; at Borgo Marinaro there will be revival music and in Largo Diaz you can dance to the warm dance sounds of the Muevelo party.
