The year 2019 is coming to an end and the TV channel Telecolore will propose the TV show of the XXIV edition 2019 of the “Penisola Sorrentina Arturo Esposito” Award, the format hosted and directed by Mario Esposito at the Teatro delle Rose in Piano di Sorrento. The TV channel visible in Campania on channel 16 of digital terrestrial, streaming on www.telecolore.it and on the Sky platform on channel 5016 for the rest of Italy, will broadcast the show on December 31st at 14.40 pm, and repeated at 20.00 pm.
The historic Salerno broadcaster therefore focuses on cultural valorization to greet the last hours of 2019.
On stage, great guests of the show including the actors Luca Barbareschi and Christian De Sica, the singer-songwriter Sergio Cammariere, the international pianist Danilo Rea, the host Giancarlo Magalli, the actor Gino Rivieccio, the actress Vanessa Gravina, the Russian soprano Svetlana Kasyan, the author Pierdavide Carone, the actresses Francesca Cavallin and Ludovica Nasti and many others.
There will be no shortage of choreographic moments, directed by Pina Testa, and readings entrusted to the actors Antonio Salvoni, Liborio Preite and Angela Achilli.
The television choice of Telecolore rewards excellence in the field of music, cinema, opera, theater, but also journalism with the director of TG2 RAI Gennaro Sangiuliano and the writer Magdi Cristiano Allam, and institutions. The award to the Presidency of the Senate and the Management of Rai Cultura for the project "Senato&Cultura" is presented by the artist from Sannio Peppe Leone and the president of the Order of Journalists of Campania Ottavio Lucarelli.
The “Penisola Sorrentina” Award was founded 24 years ago by the poet Arturo Esposito and takes place annually in Piano di Sorrento, under the patronage of the municipal administration and the Campania Region.
An event of national importance, officially recognized by the European Parliament and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
Among the most prestigious winners are personalities such as Pippo Baudo, Maurizio Costanzo, Lino Banfi, Nicola Piovani, Fred Murray Abraham, Giancarlo Giannini.
