Casandrino, 40 year old had 146 rendini in his house: arrested

Another seizure of fireworks was carried out this morning in Casandrino by the Carabinieri of the Grumo Nevano station. During a service arranged by the provincial command of Naples to combat the uncontrolled trade of fireworks intended for New Year's Eve, the military seized 146 "rendini", homemade devices, with a total weight of 8 and a half kilos; they found them at the home of av, a 40-year-old from Casandrino already known to the police.

The man was arrested for illegal possession of explosive material and placed under house arrest. The material was classified by the anti-sabotage bomb disposal squad of the provincial command of Naples and seized pending its destruction.
