A large black cloud rose in the sky around 3:00 PM on the border between Cesa and Sant'Antimo, in the Ponte area. Firefighters and the Sant'Antimo municipal police immediately arrived on the scene, and operations are still ongoing. The cloud was caused by a fire sparked by lightning.
It seems that during the storm a lightning strike caused a short circuit in a house and consequently a fire in the house. The flames could also 'touch' a nearby crutch factory and for this reason the firefighters are working tirelessly to put out the flames.
