A one-way system has been temporarily implemented on Via Piedirocca in Roccapiemonte, in the area where the fire at the Multitask Service company broke out last Saturday. Following a meeting between the Fire Department chief and Graziano Lamanna, Commander of the Roccapiemonte Local Police, the precautionary measure was implemented.
Vehicles will be able to continue from via San Potito towards Materdomini, while those arriving will have to divert towards via S.Efrem towards piazza Aldo Moro.
The measure was adopted by Commander Lamanna, in consultation with the Municipal Technical Office and the Mayor of Roccapiemonte, Carmine Pagano, following notification from the Fire Department of the possible collapse of the Multitask Service depot. On Via Piedirocca, the roadway has been narrowed appropriately for safety reasons and will only allow traffic in the exit direction toward Via Crocevia and Materdomini.
