One of the 12 people arrested in the Naples Guardia di Finanza operation targeting an international drug trafficking organization was receiving citizen's income. This is what emerged from further investigations by the GICO financial police, coordinated by the Naples DDA. The woman, Veronica Vitiello, a 33-year-old from Torre Annunziata, was responsible for establishing contacts for the sale of drugs imported from abroad and is the wife of another recipient of the warrant issued by the Naples investigating judge, who was the courier of the largest drug trafficking ring discovered by investigators. The Guardia di Finanza will request the suspension of Vitiello's citizen's income benefit, as required by law.
