Yesterday (Friday 13 December) SoundFly released exclusively in digital format (Spotify, Amazon, Deezer, YouTubeMusic, iTunes etc.) the B-Side of Stato di grazia, the new album by Bisca.
After the release of Side A, last November 29th, with the release of Side B the digital path of the album is completed while the official release date of the CD and vinyl (vertical gatefold with photo by Riccardo Piccirillo)
is scheduled for Friday, January 17, 2020, Self distribution.
Among the six tracks on Side B, there is “Cildren Ov Babilon” (which will appear as a bonus track on CD and 33 rpm), a historic song by Bisca that dates back to “Guai a chi ci tocca”, the 1994 album by the supergroup Bisca – 99 Posse. The revisitation of “Cildren Ov Babilon” was included in the soundtrack of the film L'immortale, in theaters from December 5. A very significant choice, which enhances and exalts the power of the sound of the renewed Bisca.

“When you have such a long career behind you, it becomes really difficult to find the words to present a new album. You've already said it all. And even more.
I've 'introduced' my music so many times that I got bored. And if I got bored, imagine the words. What a drag. They can't take it anymore. Poor things.
And I care about words. I take care of them, in this limping aphasia sick with forced words. False. Complacent. Formatted. With the benefit of inventory. That silence tempts you.
I raise my rebellious words. Just as I learned to cultivate my anger, to take it in charge, to savor it as one savors a cherry, as if it were a stork with a big baby in its mouth.
It's hate. I love to hate. I hate capital and its macho whores armed to the teeth, rotten, that sugar abounds on the smile of fools.
Mine is quality hatred.
Like organic olive oil cold pressed in a rough stone mill. With the power of rock.
A Rock thing, we could say. So.
Unheard. My music is. Unheard. Our music does.
And there aren't too many of us. Alas. These days.
The – State of Grace – alluded to in the album’s title is exactly this, an exceptional condition of extreme harmony and ease. When everything comes to you well and effortlessly. Like the geometric rhythm of an alien who, doomed, dances and plays even in a storm, stubborn and without a hitch.
Despite everything the – State of grace –
…and you know it won’t last. In music, I don’t trust anyone under 60.”
