The next Sanremo festival, branded Amadeus, is taking shape. While waiting to know the names of the Big and the guests of the five evenings in February (from 4 to 8), the host and artistic director throws open the doors of the Ariston to the eight singers who will participate among the Young. Leo Gassmann (with Va bene così'), Fadi (Due noi), Marco Sentieri (Billy Blu), Fasma (Per sentirmi vivo), Eugenio in via di Gioia (Tsunami) are the five protagonists who last night, live on Rai1, challenged each other with duels and music to win a front row seat at the Ariston. They are joined, from the Sanremo Area, by Gabriella Martinelli and Lula (Il gigante d'acciaio, dedicated to Taranto and the events of the former Ilva) and Matteo Faustini (Nel bene e nel male). The very young Tecla Insolia, winner of Sanremo Young, also arrives by right at the Ariston. Social issues and generational unease run through the songs, the same ones that will arrive in February. Dry challenges, in or out. For what some consider the opportunity of a lifetime, some an obligatory passage towards success. The boys are excited (and you can see it, from the twisting hands, the lost looks, the legs that don't stay still), even if many of them already have talent and apprenticeship behind them. Like Thomas who comes from Amici, but has to give way to Leo Gassmann, from X Factor, son of Alessandro - who cheers on Twitter: be brave and rock on! - and nephew of Vittorio (and more than one reminds him that he has a "cumbersome" surname, while the network hypothesizes recommendations, but he replies that "it's the music that wins"). Jefeo also comes from Amici and he too has to surrender to Fasma. Eugenio in via di Gioia bring a breath of joy and leave out the talented Avincola (with a song about riders). Shari and Reclame are also eliminated. The most deserving were decided by televoting, the festival's music commission, the demoscopic jury and the television jury, namely the five senators of the festival Pippo Baudo, Antonella Clerici, Carlo Conti, Gigi D'Alessio and Piero Chiambretti, who had the final say in the event of a tie.
