Pompeii's Christmas markets continue in Piazza Bartolo Longo. The weekend promises to be packed with events. Both adults and children will have the opportunity to enjoy entertainment and fun. On Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th, both morning and evening, you can enjoy the legendary puppet theater of the Ferraiolo brothers. This is a very ancient form of marionette theater, now in its fourth generation. The business was started by Pasquale Ferraiolo, a Neapolitan, who left the theater in 1860. At the same time, you can stroll through the square's gardens and admire the lights, taking photos at the foot of the illuminated arch and the tree that stands before the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Rosario. Forty-eight hours of events will accompany your journey through the flavors of Italy. For the most discerning palates, there are culinary specialties from various regions. Modica PGI chocolate, cured meats and cheeses from Alto Adige, taralli from Puglia, honey and jams from Cilento, and sweet delights from Palermo. Artisans will be present to showcase their handmade creations. The public is expected to attend from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
