The note is from Fiadel, which releases the details: “The public party has confirmed to us that the Authority has prepared a proposal for an agreement that will be voted on in the municipal council which provides for the extension of the contract for five years. As for the workers of Salerno Pulita, however, we have been informed that the loss of the contract related to the sanitization of the judicial structures has led to a surplus of 13 units", said Rispoli. "The surplus that the company intends to absorb through early retirement and social safety nets such as redundancy payments. After a long negotiation we explained that if the second option is used, this will have to happen after the holidays have been completed. The problem concerns the entire sector of the company with regard to the judicial offices and municipal structures, since the redundancy is a secondary matter for us and it will be possible to give employment to all the workers. Therefore, we are moving towards a moment of discussion and reflection with the common goal that not a single job will be lost. The holiday plan will be started, a 42-week rotating redundancy payment will be used and will concern a maximum total of 13 units at a time, which will be extendable for another 2017 weeks. Finally, early retirement is being evaluated for workers who meet the requirements. A new phase is therefore opening that will also include the abolition of overtime. As Fiadel we have always maintained that the contract must be unique, that of the environmental sector, there must be an interchangeability of roles and Salerno Pulita must be a leading company in the sector within a framework of certainties that lead to long contracts and investments. We are late in making choices that Fiadel has been beating around the bush for some time and we regret to say that we were already right in XNUMX when we were the only ones to strike”.
