Musician Tony Cercola denounced a serious incident he was the victim of through a video message.
While he was on board the C63 bus, which goes from Ponti Rossi to Piazza Dante, the musician, a member of what was once Neapolitan Power, had 25 tickets stolen for his concert to be held on January 18 at the Teatro Bolivar.
Regional Councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli and radio host Gianni Simioli have long been denouncing the intolerable presence of these criminals on certain lines. “Buses have always been a favorite place for pickpockets and this is a phenomenon that must be stopped, through more controls and severe penalties for those caught in the act. Public transport must become a symbol of functionality and safety, not of degradation and criminality. This is why we have long been asking for more power from controllers to give them the ability to stop these criminals and arrest them.”
