In the file that the Naples North prosecutor's office filed with the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Review Court, there are fourteen interrogations of technicians and managers of Rfi, Astaldi and Italfer, as well as testers, engineers and technicians of the Municipality of Afragola where the high-speed station designed by Zaha Hadid was inaugurated on 6 June 2018 and has ended up at the centre of several investigations. The prosecutors Giovanni Corona and Domenico Airoma write it clearly: "It was inaugurated hastily", with tests that arrived in suspicious time and in some cases falsified. On 23 February 2018, as shown in the documents, the station still did not have a static test certificate and this irritated Roberto Pagone, Rfi's manager for the South. But the test did not arrive and for this reason, as revealed by the wiretaps, he suggested to another technician to remove Donato Inglese from the role of tester. Here is the summary of the phone call made by the judicial police. Pagone calls Evangelista and asks him about the Afragola testing issue. Luigi says that everything is there and only the certifications of the work and the very last adjustments and elements of non-compliance are missing. Then the manager asks him to press because "it's becoming a joke. If Inglese doesn't feel like it, he should say so and get out of the way. The company's job is to identify the people who take responsibility and those who don't take it."
