On Sunday 29 December, starting at 19:00 pm, at Via Porto Bistrot in Salerno there will be a special aperitif to support the activities of the Salerno committee of Intersos.
The aperitif will be curated by chef Gustavo Milione, master of the house stove, who will create an ad hoc menu with his expert hands. To accompany the tasting of the chef's dishes there will be wine and cocktails prepared on the spot.
INTERSOS is an Italian non-profit non-governmental organization, currently present in 17 countries around the world, including Lebanon, South Sudan, Iraq. It is the only Italian non-governmental organization present in Yemen. Born to bring aid to the victims of natural disasters, conflicts and in general, conditions of extreme exclusion of the person, over the years it has managed interventions and projects on the occasion of the disintegration of Yugoslavia, in Somalia in the post-Siad Barre, in the conflict in Chechnya with the Russian Federation, in the conflicts in Afghanistan, after the conflict in Iraq, on the occasion of the conflicts in Darfur, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan and to clear anti-personnel mines scattered during numerous conflicts.
INTERSOS manages projects, directly and in collaboration with other humanitarian organizations, to provide assistance in Italy and abroad in situations of humanitarian emergency, with particular reference to the issues of protection of migrants, individuals and families, childhood with specific programs for child brides and child soldiers.
The first drink will cost 18 euros. The second, instead, will cost 10 euros. For each drink, a portion is included to support the activities of the volunteer organization.
For those who want to stop at “Via Porto Bistrot” for dinner, there will be the opportunity to get to know the cuisine of chef Milione in depth and continue to support the activities of Intersos Salerno.
