Naples. He attempted to kill the car owner who discovered him stealing it: 43-year-old man arrested armed with a knife. Last night, officers from the Bagnoli Police Station were approached on Via Sbarcatoio Nisida by passersby who reported a man armed with a knife attacking someone.
The police intervened and stopped the attacker, who in the meantime had been stopped by two people, and ascertained that shortly before the man had attempted to steal a car but, discovered by the owner, had attacked him with a knife to gain escape.
The man, a 43-year-old Polish citizen, was arrested for attempted improper robbery, attempted murder and illegal possession and carrying of a knife.
