Tonight at 7:00 PM, a Renaissance scent will permeate the "Costanzo Mattiello" theater in the Bartolo Longo monumental complex in Pompeii. "Sensi Linguaggi Creativi" by Giuseppe Scagliarini, with the valuable collaboration of the Municipality of Pompeii, will offer a moving and innovative tribute to the great Italian genius Leonardo da Vinci, five hundred years after his death. The evening will be a multidisciplinary meeting with experts and scholars of art and science. Paolo Giulierini, director of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, will give a valuable presentation. He was reappointed by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities for his work in recent years. The director of the Neapolitan museum will illustrate the correlation and the gap between a work of classical civilization and the work documenting the rebirth of the modern age. The event will explore the role that museums have assumed today, no longer simply as places to observe and admire the beauty of the past, but rather as re-educational and research spaces, in collaboration with higher education institutions and universities. The activities offered by museums are no longer simply for entertainment, but are also intended to represent the themes most dear to today's society, such as the relationship between culture and the environment, culture and health, and culture and urban redevelopment. The event will be enlivened by live music, performances, and dance.
