In the afternoon, coming from San Martino Valle Caudina, the governor Vincenzo De Luca arrived in Cetara and personally verified the situation in the small village of the Coast after the wave of bad weather. "With the mayor we carried out several inspections, from the site of the landslide that blocked the connections to the upper part of the town - said De Luca - Very delicate situation where it is necessary to intervene immediately on the road system of the state road". De Luca, who announced the request to the Government for a state of calamity for the whole of Campania following the "enormous damage to the economy, to agriculture, to tourism in the specific case of the Coast, also and above all in this holiday period", then took stock of the situation also in the upper area of Cetara where until yesterday evening some families remained isolated.
