Caserta. In Francolise, in the province of Caserta, in the hamlet of Ciamprisco, firefighters had to use boats to reach the homes that needed evacuation, which were cut off by floodwaters. It was a night of intense work for the Provincial Fire Department, which, with all available teams from various detachments, carried out numerous operations throughout the Caserta area. Firefighters rescued stranded motorists and intervened to remove fallen trees on the road and windblown billboards. Numerous interventions were also carried out for landslides and flooding, especially in the Upper Caserta area. Dozens of interventions were carried out throughout the province.
