Just a few days after the councilors unanimously approved the proposal of the President of the City Council, Vito Lombardi, to join the National Coordination of Local Authorities for Peace and Human Rights – consequently formalizing Marigliano as a “City for Peace” – the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, arrives in town. On Thursday, December 19, starting at 12 noon, he will travel to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Hope in San Vito to inaugurate the “Garden of Peace,” a place of great spiritual impact, located within the walls of the former convent, along Via P. Michelangelo Longo.
President De Luca will then go to the construction site in Via Vittorio Veneto to inaugurate the public works financed by the Region.
