Inside the Piazza Vanvitelli metro station, the bathrooms are in appalling condition: toilets used as dumpsters, feces covering the floors, garbage, liquids, and foul odors of all sorts. Many people have vigorously protested this disgrace.
“It makes your skin crawl to find toilets in such conditions in a public facility, and in an area, that of the bathrooms, where hygiene should be a cornerstone, a primary and essential element. We don’t dare to imagine what kind of people might be those who use toilets as garbage bins. Scandalous.” – with these words the Regional Councilor of Sole che ride Francesco Emilio Borrelli and Gianni Simioli, radio host, denounced the incident.
