Yesterday afternoon, the Carabinieri of the Poggioreale Company, the San Giovanni a Teduccio Station and the Scientific Investigations Section of the Provincial Command of Naples, in the parish of "San Giuseppe e Madonna di Lourdes" in the Villa district held a meeting with young people to talk about the prevention of accidents with fireworks.
Around 100 boys and girls from the neighborhood, aged 8 to 16, participated, along with numerous parents, parish educators and of course the parish priest Don Modesto Bravaccino.
The intervention of the anti-sabotage artificers captured the attention of the participants because the soldiers recounted their experiences, showed films and simulated with the kids what it would be like to live with an eye lost in an accident or a hand missing some fingers: this is how they wanted to warn the young people of the dangers deriving from the careless use of fireworks, especially illegal ones.
The participants asked the Carabinieri many questions, a sign that any citizen can have many doubts on the subject - doubts that can be dangerous - but the closeness and dialogue between the population and the Arma can bear fruit in terms of knowledge and safety.
