From a report from a citizen of the Spanish Quarters comes an image of a serious episode that occurred in the area, precisely in via San Matteo, in the area of ​​the former Municipal structure that is in a state of abandonment and severe degradation. In an image that arrived as a report of the incident, you can see a tree abandoned, illegally, as waste, which becomes the object of desire of three children, immortalized in the act of climbing to grab the object in question, also risking their own safety.
“In this period of the year, episodes of this kind become daily occurrence, many children participate in this hunt for trees that will be used as incendiary material for the ritual of burning the feast of Sant'Antonio, called the cippo di Sant'Antuono, which falls in January. It is a dangerous and illegal habit that almost becomes training for the world of crime. We absolutely must fight this phenomenon and report it.
