A 62-year-old man died in Naples after being crushed by a large tree that fell. The incident occurred around 7:118 a.m. on Via Nuova Agnano, on the western outskirts of the city. The man, a Moroccan national, was treated by emergency services, but at the hospital doctors could only pronounce him dead. The victim was Mohamed Boulhaziz, 62, who had been regularly present in Italy for years. He lived in Maddaloni and worked as a shopkeeper. Police responded to the scene. The windstorm that hit Campania in the early hours of the morning caused numerous other trees and billboards to fall throughout the city.
