This morning, by delegation of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples, the State Police executed an order applying the precautionary measure of custody in prison, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, against two young men, MC, aged 27, and PR, aged 27, both Neapolitans reached by serious evidence of guilt for the crimes of aggravated robbery and assault.
The precautionary measure summarizes the results of complex investigations coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples and carried out by the police officers of the Naples Flying Squad in relation to a robbery that took place in September 2019 to the detriment of an Italian tourist in the central Via Toledo; the woman, while walking with her husband, was "noticed" by two young men riding a scooter, one of whom got off the vehicle and reached her, violently tearing a necklace of considerable value from her neck, before reaching the accomplice and quickly moving away.
The violent criminal action caused the victim multiple traumas, which led to his hospitalization and in particular the lacerated contused wound on the neck, sutured by the health workers and which will heal in 25 days. Following the activities carried out, the suspects were taken to the Naples-Poggioreale prison.
