This morning there was an attack by graffiti artists in the Frullone station of the Naples Metro. At about six twenty a.m. some young people spray-painted the train, effectively blocking traffic.
There were moments of tension, in fact, a worker, exasperated by the delay suffered, had a violent argument with a graffiti artist. The police arrived on the scene, but the group managed to disappear by throwing themselves on the tracks and heading towards the Colli Aminei station.
Neapolitan trade unionist Giuseppe Alviti, leader of Identità Meridionale, offered a harsh comment: "The municipal administration has long been failing on this front, and not only that. There is a need to strengthen video surveillance and increase private security, working in conjunction with law enforcement and the 24-hour municipal police along the entire stretch. This alone is an effective preventative deterrent."
