This year, the Department of Culture and Tourism of the City of Naples has dedicated Christmas to Naples, with the emblematic title "voglia e turna_ the city of those who leave, those who stay, and those who long to return," to the emigrant population of our land, to those returning home, to families, to the "nomadic" communities of our city who gather during the holidays in their homes, but above all in the streets and squares.
For this reason, on December 21st and 22nd the Department of Culture and Tourism, with the support of the Department of Labor and Welfare, is proposing, for this pre-holiday weekend WELCOME HOME, a two-day discussion and celebration dedicated to a theme that is particularly felt by many young people (and not only) in our area.
Saturday 21st at 17pm at Palazzo Venezia (via Benedetto Croce 19) a reflection, dedicated to the theme of southern emigration "for study and work", in the company of Adriano Giannola (President of Svimez), Marco Esposito (Full Professor of Labor Law at the University of Naples Parthenope), Monica Buonanno (Councillor for Labor of the Municipality of Naples) and Eleonora de Majo (Councillor for Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Naples).
Sunday 22 December at 19.30:XNUMX pm an evening of music and words, dedicated to the many young people (and not) of our territory, in the courtyard of the Convent of San Domenico Maggiore, where we hope to symbolically embrace those who have returned to the city for this Christmas.
A party/concert, promoted and supported by the Municipality of Naples, Department of Culture and Tourism, presented and conducted by il Temerario, Ricky and Pasqui di Casa Surace which will see artists of the caliber of Teresa De Sio (who with the title of one of her songs became the godmother of Christmas in Naples 2019) take turns on stage, the wonderful Ebbanesis, the young rapper Leslie and the young Baloo, Saint, Plug.
