Casal di Principe is reclaiming the clan's assets. The municipal council, led by Mayor Renato Franco Natale, has expressed interest in acquiring 20 properties confiscated from organized crime. The goal is to implement social projects and enhance the area, perhaps even using these assets for institutional purposes.
"The assets stolen from criminal organizations are a precious resource for the territories - said Mayor Natale - and this is a valid opportunity to provide an effective response and active presence of the state functional to supporting the processes of social and economic growth. The municipal administration has a fundamental role in the process of returning to the community the assets stolen from the Camorra and in the dissemination of culture and legality, as the main action to combat any form of organized crime".
The Municipality of Casal di Principe has requested these goods to be reused:
A residential building in excellent condition intended for social housing
Fenced and paved square of about 1000 mXNUMX that will be used for institutional purposes for the allocation of municipal and civil protection vehicles
Residential building of 180 mXNUMX: there will be a decentralization of the municipal offices, area section
Land located on the edge of the municipal stadium, currently unused, which has been excavated by the judiciary for suspected dumping of special waste. It will be used to expand the sports facilities, and will house a sports hall
Civil building composed of several real estate units that will host, in agreement with the ASL, a municipal unit of Ambit
Agricultural land with orchard in a state of abandonment, free from construction works that will have a social use with the assignment to associations that deal with typical local products such as the 'Annurca apple'
Single plots of building land of approximately 510 m50 in the 'XNUMX moggio' area that can be used for the first shelter of sterilized dogs
Plot of land in a peripheral agricultural area of 3554 mXNUMX subject to excavation for suspected burial of special waste: the equipped market area could be built here
Civil building with clear signs of temporary illegal occupation that will be used for social housing
Fenced area of 7432 with small tuff artifact that could, also in this area, host the market
Plot of land of 428 mXNUMX to be used for social use for the creation of social gardens
Large civil building with multiple real estate units in via Cardarelli to be used for social housing
Area of relevance used as a garden courtyard of approximately 3 hectares with a small building for service use: it will be used as a 'public space'
Residential building, access from via Mozart, to be used for the allocation of a local municipal office with a depot for vehicles of the Maintenance and Environment service
Civil building adjacent to another confiscated property already used as a municipal middle school and gym, which will be used to expand the middle school
Building in via Bologna to be used for the allocation of cultural associations and/or social cooperatives
