On Saturday evening, two young men attempted to access the self-service area of a bank located in Piazza Portanova to make a routine cash withdrawal, but they encountered difficulty. They attempted to open the glass doors using their hands. However, one of the doors shattered, injuring the arms and hands of the two bank customers. An IVRI security guard responded quickly, alerting a Misericordia ambulance, which was located nearby. Paramedics treated one of the victims on the spot, while the other was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
