A third vandalism incident has occurred at the "Virgilio" Teacher Training Institute in Pozzuoli, on Via Vecchia San Gennaro. Unknown individuals entered the building last night, spraying classrooms and hallways with plaster. The windows and doors were also damaged, having been forced open to gain access. This is the third time in 40 days that the school administration has had to suspend classes for cleanup. On the last occasion, classes were suspended for three days. The repeated acts of vandalism at the "Virgilio" are being investigated by the police. This morning, officers from the Pozzuoli police station conducted an inspection of the premises. The school does not have video surveillance, so the police are reviewing footage from systems in the area. School will be suspended for approximately 1,000 students, and the end-of-year holidays will be brought forward by 24 hours.
