Praiano. This afternoon, on the Amalfi Coast, the Campania Alpine and Speleological Rescue Service (CNSAS) had to intervene to save a young hiker near the Convent of San Domenico in Praiano. The eighteen-year-old slipped while hiking on a trail in the Lattari Mountains, falling approximately 3 meters and hitting her back. Her companion then alerted 118, which subsequently activated the CNSAS. The girl was quickly reached by medical and technical personnel from the Salerno 118 air rescue service, who, along with a team from the Alpine Rescue Service, transferred her to a nearby area where she could be recovered by helicopter. She was subsequently airlifted to the Salerno hospital for further assessments. The PA Millennium of Amalfi supported the operation.
