The show "Almost Christmas" will be performed at the TAN on December 21st (8:30 pm) and 22nd (6:00 pm). A story of homecomings, melancholy, and a touch of mystery, it tells the story of the days leading up to the Christmas holidays. Written by Francesco Lagi, the performance features the actors of the Teatrodilina Company: Anna Bellato, Francesco Colella, Silvia D'Amico, and Leonardo Maddalena. Sound design by Giuseppe D'Amato, set design by Salvo Ingala, costumes by Andrea Cavalletto, stage design by Alessandra Agresti, and lighting design by Martin E. Palma. The show is produced by the Fondazione Sipario Toscana ONLUS.
Three brothers who return to their childhood home and there is something their mother has to tell them. No one knows what that thing is. It's snowing outside, it's the days before Christmas. There is also a girl, who happens to live with them those days. She looks so familiar that she seems to come from a past that is hard to focus on. There is an expectation and a forced closeness. And a Christmas tree with intermittent lights. A ringing telephone and an old story of Native American shamans. There are certain spirits, in that house, that struggle to leave.
