Sal De Riso of Minori (Salerno) took the top step of the podium at the Classico Milanese competition of the "Panettone Artists" held this morning in Milan at Palazzo Bovara. Second place went to Milanese Vincenzo Santoro, and third place went to Carmen Vecchione of Avellino. Sal De Riso succeeded in making the typical Milanese holiday dessert not only in the classic format, but also in 19 other variations, filled with PDO and PGI products from Campania, which have been exported worldwide, from Australia to the Arab world to the United States.
