Salerno, storm and strong wind: the stormy sea with six-meter waves hits the coast

A real storm is hitting Salerno and the province in these hours, especially on the coast. Gusts of strong wind with very rough seas with waves in some cases over 6 meters high. The force of the waves is lashing the structures close to the sea. Meanwhile, the rain has continued to fall incessantly since last night. A worsening is expected from the afternoon, while the alert should end at midnight, unless otherwise indicated. There is apprehension from the civil protection and local administrations.
