A brawl broke out around 7 p.m. on Corso Garibaldi in Salerno. Near a well-known bookstore, a group of people began a heated argument, apparently over the confiscation of goods from a street vendor. Words escalated into action, with the argument escalating into a full-blown fight involving more than ten people, including several immigrants.
On site, the Municipal Police, the 118 health workers, the Police Headquarters agents and the Guardia di Finanza to calm things down: not without difficulty, the situation was resolved without serious consequences. Investigations are underway to reconstruct the dynamics and causes of the event.
