The Lega Nazionale Dilettanti, chaired by Cosimo Sibilia from Campania, closed the celebrations for its sixtieth anniversary with an event in Rome. Presenting the commemorative stamp, Sibilia underlined: "2019 was a special year for amateurs both for sporting results and for the opening to new frontiers such as eSports. A careful eye on costs, with the second positive balance sheet in a row, also allowed us to invest more resources in young people and in policies to support companies. These months have meant for us the opportunity to get even closer to the territory and strengthen the bond with the base and the institutions, I thank the Municipality of Rome for welcoming us in this magnificent setting" . During the last birthday party, Luigi Buondonno from Stabia, a Real Anacapri footballer who saved the life of his opponent Filippo Saviano, who had lost consciousness after a clash during a game, was awarded the golden ball.
