He left us thinking that Naples could now walk on its own two feet, that it had solved its ancestral problems of crime and public order. He had retired to his Neapolitan Crypt just as his twin Supermen had done in Kripton. But Naples asked for his help again and after twenty years Sasamen decided to leave his refuge to fly again in the skies of the city dressed as a Superhero. This time there will be no old ladies to assist or intricate cases to solve. This time there will be the city to defend.
Written by Marco Lanzuise, Salvatore Turco, Rosario Verde, from an idea by Teandria and Lello Marangio, “SASAMEN – THE SERIES” returns. The Neapolitan superhero, the character who monopolized the small screen twenty years ago, achieving unimaginable audience figures for the Neapolitan television scene.
A web series of ten episodes, fifteen minutes each, which will also be broadcast on TV, in which all the social issues of the city will be addressed, from crime to the Camorra, from prostitution to the environment, from unemployment to the economy. Each topic with the usual attitude of the slightly eccentric superhero who in the end always manages to get to the bottom of every situation.
Rosario Verde will always play the role of the Neapolitan superhero, Lello Musella who in the old edition played Rat Man, in this version he is Commissioner Musella who investigates not only the Superhero but also a Boss of the underworld played by Germano Bellavia. Marco Lanzuise, who played the role of the villain Dolomiticus in the old edition, this time is the brother-in-law of Salvatore Napoli alter ego of Sasamen. New entry is Lisa Fusco who plays the role of Sasamen's girlfriend. Many actors, then, participated giving their friendly participation such as: Franco Pinelli, Lucio Pierri, Vincenzo Merolla, Peppe Celentano and many others.
“After twenty years we called Sasamen back into service because the city needs him. It is plagued by too many problems and only a superhero can save it”. Massimiliano Triassi with his Max Adv produced this new series dedicated to the Neapolitan Superhero. “It was a huge effort – he says – A project that lasted a year between filming, post-production with special effects and more than fifty people involved in the cast. A great challenge that these days is very difficult but that I wanted to undertake certain of meeting the public's favor. Sasamen has remained in my heart and his challenge to solve the city's problems is also mine in producing a sitcom that I am convinced will enter the hearts of Neapolitans”.
Among other productions by Massimiliano Triassi are “I sovrani”, “Al femminile”, “Ultimo stadio”, “Barche in onda”, “À ricetta”, “Musicaly game show”, Web serie magiche emozioni (caffè borbone)”. Now Sasamen is ready to defend the city: “We want to raise social issues that we know well such as crime, livability and not only with a pinch of irony but also with the desire to smile and think”
In the shoes of Sasamen, after twenty years Rosario Verde: "Naples has changed, I have changed, Sasamen has changed. Now he foils all the boss's plans, he fights him in his own way. The powers are those of tradition but with new adventures of a superhero all Neapolitan".
The first appointment is for January 6th on the web and on Neapolitan TV when Sasamen will save his beloved Naples.
