Discouragement in Salerno: young journalist Marta Naddei dies in a road accident

Serious accident last night in Salerno. The 34-year-old journalist from Salerno Marta Naddeì died from the consequences suffered after a violent accident while she was riding her scooter. The girl, for reasons yet to be ascertained, lost control and fell heavily on the asphalt.

The journalist suffered serious injuries following the accident and died in the late morning at the Ruggi Hospital. The crash occurred around 4 am this morning on Lungomare Marconi, near a well-known beach resort. The young journalist from Cronache della Sera apparently lost control of her scooter and then fell violently onto the asphalt. The dynamics of the accident are still unclear. The 118 paramedics arrived on site and transported the girl to the San Giovanni di Dio and Ruggi d'Aragona hospital.

At the end of a long battle between life and death, Marta Naddei has left behind friends and family. Numerous messages of condolences have been posted on her Facebook profile, where many remember her for the example she set, both as a journalist and, above all, as a woman. The mayor of Salerno, Vincenzo Napoli, wrote: "I express to her family, colleagues, and friends my deepest condolences, both personally and on behalf of the City Council of Salerno, for the tragic death of Marta Naddei. She was a young journalist of great value, meticulous and tenacious in her research and in her documented reporting of events. How we will miss her daily presence at the City Hall, her witty questions, her brilliant headlines, her courageous articles. Farewell, Marta, your young life was a wonderful gift to our community. We will find a way to worthyly honor your unforgettable memory."
