First year for the external Christmas lighting of the Museum: the facade of the Sorrento museum, on which the words “Happy Holidays” are projected in several languages, will remain illuminated with the characteristic red color until next January 6th.
"A choice, that of the external lighting, that everyone liked - declared the President of the Correale Museum Gaetano Mauro - we made the intersection of Via Correale magical and warmed the Museum with the Christmas atmosphere". But it does not end here, because the Correale Museum has planned "Christmas at the Museum", a small calendar to celebrate together in the days to come. Saturday 21 December, in fact, at 18:30 the Christmas Concert of the Cai Stabiae Chorus will be held while Saturday 28 December at 19:30 "Sounds from the Universe" will be held, a 4-hand piano with the music of Shubert, Brahms, Debussy, Liszt and the reciting voice of Carlo Alfaro.
Finally, there are two temporary exhibitions for this Christmas period: the masters Giovanna Silvano and Lauro Castellano present the photographic art exhibition “Riflessi di Natale” which accompanies the visit to the nativity scene created with shepherds in the 700th century style and hosted on the ground floor of the Correale Museum.
