For this reason, the activity of combating administrative offences carried out by the Railway Police Department for Campania has focused attention on those who habitually carry out any illegal activity, both in the station and in the immediate vicinity, achieving almost zeroing of the phenomenon, thanks to the continuous and ferocious controls of the individuals dedicated to that type of activity. MR, a forty-five year old with a criminal record, was also often caught and fined by the officers at the central station while she was busy asking travellers for money and, if they didn't answer, she would curse them and hurl all sorts of curses. But on Saturday the woman was intercepted while she was bothering travellers in the railway station premises and was stopped by the officers. This time, however, the check was not "welcome" to the forty-five year old who, in the presence of numerous people, began to rail against the police officers, insulting them and threatening them heavily. When she was then taken to the Polfer offices to be subjected to further checks, the woman offered the police officers a sum of money under the table to avoid the check. Following this episode the woman was reported both for threats and for attempted corruption of a Public Official.
