“Baby gang, degradation, meeting spaces. Foria needs answers, not murals” is a slogan that appeared on a banner, signed by Berta-Casa Pound, placed on the former Caserma Garibaldi. It would be a form of protest, or intimidation, against a project carried out by the Artur Association, founded by Maria Luisa Iavarone, the mother of Arturo, a boy who was vilely attacked in Via Foria by a baby gang, leaving him on the brink of death.

"Mrs. Iavarone has our full support and for this reason we will defend her initiatives and those supported by the association she founded with all our might because they are aimed at bringing about social, mental and territorial improvements in at-risk neighborhoods. Intimidating acts are absolutely a cowardly gesture and must be fought. If Casapound's were only a demonstration of dissent or a request, then she should propose concrete alternative ideas and actions to help the territory and not questionable banners posted in an abusive manner" - said the Regional Councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli in support of Maria Luisa Iavarone.
